Dr. Shelbi Young Brown
Dr. Young graduated from UNC Chapel Hill (Go, Heels!) with a BS in Biology, and then attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD in 2020. Following dental school, she also completed a one-year advanced education residency in general dentistry through East Carolina University.
“For me, dentistry isn’t just drilling and filling, but is the perfect blend of art and science. And although I love many facets of dentistry, I most enjoy getting to know my patients. To me, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach and building a trusting relationship.”
Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, Dr. Young creates a genuine connection with each of her patients and provides them with excellent and individualized care. It’s easy to see that she takes her passion for dental care and her patients’ smiles to heart.
Outside of the office, she spends most of her time with her husband and her one year old son, where they enjoy being out on the water, trying new recipes at home, or enjoying all Pensacola has to offer as a family. She is also an animal lover, and has one cat (Sawyer) and two dogs (Chief and Mack).!
